Samantha Hoe-Richardson

Samantha Hoe-Richardson is Manager of Energy Strategy & Analysis for Anglo American plc. Samantha joined Anglo American's Industrial Minerals Division in 1999. Following the Group's acquisition of Tarmac plc, the UK's leading supplier of heavy building materials, she became the Business Development Manager for the enlarged division. With technologies emerging which make further beneficiation of coal more economic and its combustion more sustainable, Anglo American has recognised the need to better understand energy markets and the opportunities they may bring. In 2005, she was appointed to her current role. Samantha, who has previously worked in investment banking and audit, holds a Masters degree in Engineering from Cambridge University. She is also a Chartered Accountant.
